2011: The Reign of Indies at Oscars/ 2011:...
Today at 8:30 am EST in the morning, Oscar nominations were announced. The King’s Speech dominated with 12 nominations and others followed with True Grit 10, Social Network and Inception (no nomination for Christopher Nolan?) garnering 8, The Fighter 7, 127 Hours 6, Black Swan 5, The Kids Are All Right and Winter’s Bone 4.

Crazy Heart stole my heart
Two days ago, I finally watched Crazy Heart, starring Jeff Bridges, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Robert Duvall, Colin Farrell and an incredible supporting cast. I was dying to see the movie even before the movie and Jeff Bridges started to be nominated and to win at awards. After it got a lot of buzz, I had to watch it. I’m so glad that I did.
